Mine Organics is an eco-friendly, organic cotton clothing company with a "rocking new line of organic baby clothing and organic apparel for other members of the family and manufactured under fair-trade practices. We also offer other eco-friendly and organic products for the entire earth friendly family. Attached to each shirt, is a tag containing ready-to-plant wildflower seeds. All of the paper used, including our catalogs, is printed on 100% recycled paper using vegetables dyes. Initially the tees were designed for children, but after witnessing men and women trying to squeeze into them, we expanded our product line. There are currently 16 different designs but please feel free to e-mail any of your suggestions for future products. We want to encourage everyone to make a difference in our world and educate all people who see and wear our shirts!

How we got started:
Mine Organics was started by sisters, Kim McLeod and Nikki LaBelle, who are determined to make a difference in the world!
Kim is a mother of two children and Nikki a mother of four.
In November of 2001, Kim’s daughter, then age 3, was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA). After countless tests, traces of pesticides and other chemicals, were found in her blood. This life altering disease caused both sisters to change their family’s lifestyle and use only organic cleaners, detergents and necessary household supplies. Upon further research, they both became more knowledgeable about the environment and its many hazards. They strongly advocate that one person or child doing even the simplest thing will help our environment!
Our Dream for the world:
To help educate all children and people about the “little things” that can make huge impact in our world. It is encouraging and rewarding for people to know that they are doing something good! Our hope is that if we show children what little things they can do to help; they will want to do even more. In turn, their parents may join the quest, then their friends and family may “catch on” and the circle continues. It will be one big, fun cycle of helping our Earth and it is this change that Mine Organics is eager to make happen!
